Soon we don't need rugs to keep our living environments warm. Through the ongoing climate crisis, humans' ecological footprint is going to decrease naturally, thans to its own activities. The Melting Rug is demonstrating the different stadiums of the melting Arctic ice cap in a form of a disappearing space for our footprints, based on NSIDC reports:
