If I Were Me

by Linda O Keeffe

Using the text If I were me, by the Brazilian poet Clarice Lispector, the artists Linda O Keeffe and Isabel Nogueira created a sound piece in four movements using voices, synthesizers, live coding and field recordings where they mix their own visions on the subject proposed by the author and the visions from the members of ECOAR (Research Group in Body and Art Studies), from University of São Paulo, Brazil. The sound piece was part of the performance If I Were Me, by the ECOAR Group (EACH/USP) in September 2018, coordinated by the choreographer Marilia Velardi.
