Zoyander Street is a neuroqueer and disabled writer, researcher, and digital artist, creating interactive media based on social and historical research. They like to cross disciplinary boundaries, such as making live theatre with game-like interaction, or videogames for gallery spaces. Their work has been shown around the world, including Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago, Vancouver, and London. Their work at the arty fringe of indie games goes back to 2011. Since 2021 they have been developing a practice in interactive theatre, as one of Sheffield Theatres’ supported artists. They are the lead artist behind Intrapology, an ambitious queer sci-fi series that takes the form of interactive conversations between alien anthropologists, performed live over video call using original software. - MA Japanese Studies, Cambridge University - MA History of Design, V&A Museum / RCA - PhD Sociology, Lancaster University - Board of Directors, Critical Distance - Board of Trustees, NEoN Digital Arts
