Tammy’s work explores the spaces between interconnectedness and environmental protection. Reverence of the natural world rules her work, striving to connect people, often through emotion, to the degradation and wonder of our planet while providing an energetic deep breath directly into addressing the solution and encouraging stewardship and conservation. This can take many forms, site specific environmental art, ecological earthworks, mixed media and sculptural works and photography. Letting land and culture lead the way, she is currently inspired by the issues and solutions of climate change, species decline and ecological restoration. Travel is essential to her work attending residencies in, Iceland, Oregon, Ireland and her home landscape in Austin TX. Her work has been exhibited across the country and internationally and in publications, including at the SOHO photo gallery in NYC, the South LA Contemporary, in at the United Nations Climate talks in Germany, Santiago Chile, and Alfortville, France.
