I do highly interactive and immersive installations, ranging from gallery pieces, to 70+' of interactive displays on 42nd St. in NYC, 3-dimensional science museum and art exhibits, and highly multichannel responsive sound environments. I am very collaborative, and have developed pieces with composers, painters, visual artists, dancers, architects, and journalists. I was a double major in college: animal behavior and computer science, with a minor in film-making. I spent a year doing dolphin intelligence, language, and social behavior research and observations, developing my own software for animal vocalization analysis and classification. I then spent decades in high-tech, most recently as VP of engineering of a robotics company before deciding to get back to my love of light and sound, and to use my tech skills to create experiences empowering participants with seeming superpowers and immersing them in environments to connect to information at a visceral level.
