Neelambaree Prasad, Kripa Iyer
Originally from Mumbai, Kripa Iyer and Neelambaree Prasad, are friends and fellow dancers and founded Madhuriya, an art based not-for-profit in London. They have trained (and still do) under the lineage of Padmavibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra for over two decades and now teach and perform to spread the joy of dance in the UK. Kripa is an economist and Neelambaree a pharmacologist. Combining their leadership skills and experience from the worlds of policy and healthcare, and as curators, they launched ClimArts in collaboration with Terra.do at the London Design Festival 2022. It is a unique platform for artists anywhere in the world to learn from climate specialists, collaborate with them and have an opportunity to present their climate storytelling to a global audience.
