Marie-Luce Nadal

In constant search for new fields of experimentation, Marie-Luce Nadal draws her inspiration from the exploration of natural spaces or from immersion in laboratories. Her research consists in interpreting and constructing artificial landscapes based on the observation of climatic phenomena, a motor of fascination to transcend a form of incomprehension that the world sometimes refers to. The dynamic movements at work in the universe underlie a question inherent to his approach: how to capture the aerial, how to possess the elusive? Driven by this questioning, and helped by a hybrid training at the frontiers of visual arts, science and architecture, she elaborates processes, which borrow from the formal vocabulary of science, to bring out phenomena or their evocations, as mysterious as they are evanescent.
